1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the SKILLORA website, platform, courses, live classes, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Definitions

• "Platform": Refers to the SKILLORA website and mobile applications through which the Services are provided.

• "User" or "You": Refers to any individual who registers for an account or uses the Services.

• "Course Content": Includes all educational materials provided through the Services, such as videos (recorded and live), lectures, assignments, quizzes, downloadable files, and community forum posts created by SKILLORA or its instructors.

• "Live Class": Refers to scheduled, real-time, interactive learning sessions delivered by instructors via the Platform or third-party tools.

• "Instructor": Refers to the individuals or entities providing the Course Content and Live Classes on the Platform.

3. Account Registration and Security

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to register for an account and use the paid Services. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

• Account Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up-to-date.

• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify SKILLORA immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

• Prohibition on Sharing: You may not share your account or login credentials with any other person. Each account is for a single user.

4. Course Access and Live Classes

• Course Access License: Upon payment of the required fees, SKILLORA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the Course Content for which you have paid, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.

• Access Duration: Access to recorded Course Content is typically granted for a period specified at the time of purchase (e.g., "lifetime access" or a fixed period). "Lifetime access" is defined as access for as long as SKILLORA maintains the course on its Platform.

• Live Classes: Access to Live Classes may be subject to a separate fee or included in the course purchase. SKILLORA reserves the right to reschedule or cancel Live Classes due to instructor unavailability or technical issues. In case of cancellation, an alternative session or a refund (or partial refund) for the Live Class portion will be offered as per the refund policy.

• Technical Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary hardware, software, and internet connectivity to access and participate in the Services, including Live Classes.

5. Payment, Pricing, and Refunds

• Pricing: Prices for the Services are listed on the Platform and are subject to change. The price applicable to you will be the price at the time of purchase.

• Payment: You agree to pay the fees for the courses and/or services you purchase. SKILLORA uses third-party payment processors, and you agree to their respective terms and conditions.

• Refund Policy: All purchases are subject to SKILLORA’s separate Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. (e.g., Example: A full refund is available within 30 days of purchase if less than 10% of the Course Content has been viewed. You must define your specific policy).

• Currency: All fees are exclusive of taxes and are payable in the currency specified on the Platform.

6. Intellectual Property and Content Usage

• SKILLORA's Property: All Course Content, the Platform, logos, trademarks, and all underlying technology are the exclusive property of SKILLORA or its licensors/Instructors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

• Restrictions on Use: You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Recording, copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, selling, or publicly displaying any Course Content or Live Class sessions.

  • Using Course Content for any commercial purpose.

  • Sharing the Course Content with any third party.

  • Creating derivative works from or exploiting the Course Content in any way.

• User-Generated Content: If you post content (e.g., forum posts, assignments, feedback) on the Platform, you grant SKILLORA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Services.

7. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, instructors, or SKILLORA staff.

• Impersonate any person or entity.

• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code to the Platform.

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or other users' accounts.

• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services.

SKILLORA reserves the right to investigate and terminate your account without a refund if you violate any of the prohibited activities.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• No Professional Advice: The Services and Course Content are provided for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional advice (e.g., legal, financial, medical, or technical).

• No Guarantees: SKILLORA does not guarantee that you will achieve any specific results, employment, or career growth by using the Services. Results depend on individual effort, skills, and market conditions.

• "As Is" Basis: The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied.

• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKILLORA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. SKILLORA's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to SKILLORA for the courses in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

• By SKILLORA: We may terminate or suspend your right to access and use the Services, without notice, at our sole discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to: (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) non-payment of fees, or (c) extended periods of inactivity.

• By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

10. Miscellaneous

• Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad Etc.

• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SKILLORA, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from (a) your use of and access to the Services; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

• Changes to Terms: SKILLORA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and/or sending an email notification. Your continued use of the Services after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
